About the Business:

Armenta Leather Co. was truly started from the ground up; making a belt here and there for friends and family, relying on word of mouth for sales. As soon as I would sell something I'd immediately reinvest it back into the business, buying new tools, new leathers, new patterns. Just always making and failing and then making again until I didn't fail. Bit by bit, I slowly built up to where I am now. While my business is still very small, the passion is bigger than it ever has been.

The dream here at Armenta Leather Co. is simple: to offer premium leather products made with integrity. No matter what you buy from us, a small keychain or a large custom wallet, you can be sure your new leather companion has been made with the finest craftsmanship and attention to detail, from the moment of rolling out the hide to packaging it all up.

About the Craftsman:

Being the name behind the company, I find it only right to let my customers know a little bit about myself. My name is Tavis Armenta, a 20-year-old craftsman. To me, there has always been an importance in things that last, having something that you can care for, maintain, and pass down. We can all realize this is something that many big retail corporations cannot offer their customers, and that is where small makers come in. 

I'm a person that is very attracted to real, raw things in life. I find joy in a cup of coffee and some Hemingway, a sunset and the good smell of fresh cut grass and creeks running through these Tennessee hills. Working in the shop is when I am at my happiest and most full, when I can craft something real and true in world of things that are not often so.

Being the sole craftsman of the business, it is my job to ensure everything that rolls off my bench is of the highest quality, not only in name and catch phrase, but truly, in every bit of the project in front of me. I am the one in charge of making those fine details pop and keeping those stitch lines sturdy. This means every product has to be held up to the highest standard possible before it gets shipped out to you.
